      ElectrifyWhen was my solution to avoiding the lines at charging stations. It predicts the availability of charging stations in the next 15 minutes to save you the disappointment of arriving at a busy charger.

    • Why did you make ElectrifyWhen?

      I purchased the Polestar 2 back in early 2022 and it came with a 2 year complementary charging plan. I am a cheap person so I planned to take full advantage of this offer and did my best to avoid paying for electricity.

    • How does ElectrifyWhen know when the best time to charge is?

      It uses past data to predict how busy stations will be in the future. It's might be a little outdated since I haven't had as much time to work on this.

    • Where do you get this data? I want to look at it myself.

      Maybe if you help pay for my cloud costs...

      Yes, but like I said I am cheap. This also ended up being a lot more fun than I expected.

      I lost my Polestar 2 in an accident and now have a Model 3 so it's no longer a priority. I'll probably slowly add some features for fun.
